Serie A 2026/2027 will have its own official €5 coin, produced by the Italian State Mint and used for the traditional pre-match coin toss.

Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A. ("Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato" or "IPZS") and Poste Italiane S.p.A. ("Poste Italiane") have completed the acquisition of PagoPA S.p.A. ("PagoPA"), holding 51% and 49% of the company’s share capital, respectively.
