New Normattiva Open Data Portal Presented at Forum PA

Italy’s legislative heritage is now available in open and interoperable formats, enabling easy access and reuse by public administrations, businesses, researchers, and developers.

The new Normattiva Open Data Portal was presented at Forum PA 2026. The platform was developed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Legal and Legislative Affairs (DAGL) and designed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (IPZS).

The new system makes Italy’s legislative heritage available in open and interoperable formats, facilitating access to and reuse of legal information by public administrations, businesses, universities, research centres, and developers.

During the event, the main enhancements of the platform were illustrated, including its ability to provide secure access to and export of legislative acts in compliance with European standards.

The project marks an important step forward in the digital transformation of the Italian Public Administration, helping to make legislation an increasingly accessible, transparent, and valuable resource for the development of new digital services.
