The 2026–2027 admission call has been published for entry to the School of Medallic Art (SAM) of IPZS, the historic educational institution established in 1907 within the Italian State Mint.
For the new academic year, 15 places are available for the three-year programme and 10 places for the preparatory course. Both programmes are tuition-free.
Applications must be submitted by 31 July 2026 by completing the online application form available through the link below.
The selection process includes two observational drawing tests and one bas-relief modelling test. Admission examinations will take place in person in Rome, at the School of Medallic Art premises in Viale Gottardo 146, starting from 14 September 2026. The detailed schedule will be communicated to applicants by 7 September 2026.
